Sos Sinnos

LA BOTTE E IL CILINDRO

Published posthumously in 1983, three years after the premature death of the author Michelangelo Pira, an intellectual who left a great void in the island’s culture, Sos Sinnos (the signs) remains the most important attempt to use the Sardinian language – in the Bittese variety – for a work of global scope that would make its own the most important results of literature and human sciences of the 20th century.

The show is the first phase of a musical and theatrical approach to Pira’s work, created by an ensemble of different artists.
