In recalling places and events of a distant time when history and legend were inextricably intertwined, we can only try to recover the echoes, the mythology and a bit of memory in the tradition that has come down to us.
“The landing of the Saracens” will tell one of the many stories that can be found in Sardinia: the raids of Saracen pirates on our coasts. Such events often caused deaths and suffering, kidnappings and thefts. Sometimes we were robbed and other times … we were the pirates.
The event will try to theatrically offer a fragment of those facts, mixing authentic historical sources with the fantasy and magic of the theater, the rest will be done by the beautiful beach of Porto Frailis.
