Almost a year of testimonies, a year of memories dusted off with difficulty.
Memory is important because in 1990, when the first sea cart loaded with Albanians landed in Salento, there were still 1,000 illegal Italian children in Switzerland. In the ’70s there were 30,000… Thus was born this project in two parts on the epic of millions of Italians in the post-war period, while Italy was preparing for a sensational economic boom, keeping quiet out of shame for those children exiled due to poverty of economic and intellectual means.
