CADA DIE TEATRO

The work – explains the author, Alessandro Mascia – is the transformation into a show of the enormous accumulation of dreams, thoughts and images born from the experience of the integrated theatre project Migranti, from which I drew images and words. The work, born in total solitude, through sentences, notes, short, intimate and personal pictures, almost like a work diary, was later enriched by the participation of Mauro (afflicted by acute spastic tetraparesis) as a companion on stage and authentic “mentor”, prompter, almost invisible, of many reflections and words. The discomfort, which at the beginning I read as difficulty, marginalization – continues Mascia – was a discovery of energy, beauty, continuous feeling. The basic idea is the image of Mauro who on stage, slowly, from a dream transforms into a complete presence, like a desire that takes shape out of intrinsic necessity. A voice that transforms into words and body, to lay himself bare with irony and raw sincerity. We decided that at the center of this show there should be feelings: emotions and fears, surprise, which we wanted not to remain individual solitudes, but to transform into theatrical expression.
