The story of the long journey that retraced the deportation journey of twenty-six Jews captured in the province of Cuneo.
Viaggio ad Auschwitz a/r is the story of a man convinced of his moral integrity and his sense of justice, who, one day, during a visit to the Buchenwald concentration camp, imagining himself a prisoner in that place, discovers the dark side of himself and dramatically understands that in that condition he could abjure all his ethical principles for his survival. To escape from the abyss into which this discovery has sunk him, he sets out on a long pilgrimage on foot, following the routes of deportation, researching himself, the facts and stories of an offended humanity and discovering the thaumaturgical power of contact and relationship with people and the world.
