Cantiere “belli da mettere in scena”
There is something special in the stories that Milena Agus tells, and in the way she tells them. A candor, a freshness, an ability to go beyond reality – and at the same time to touch it and be hurt by it – that belongs to her and only she can reproduce. With her first novel, Durante dorme il pescecane, published by Nottetempo, she told a bizarre, moving and disconcerting story, which had as its theme the hunger for love and as its protagonists the bizarre members of her imaginary family: her mother, her aunt, her son, her sadomasochistic boyfriend, the man of the dream, the little girl of Providence.
