«The idea for the show came to me following a Sunday visit to the Nivola Museum in Orani. His Lettini – real miniaturized theaters – unleashed that mix of associations-dreams-fantasies that overwhelms me every time the idea of a new show makes its way into me. The bed: that object-place in which we spend a good part of our human experience and in which the most important things happen: love, birth, rest, reading, arguments, solitude, dreams, illnesses (often death)… The biography of the Oranese sculptor – his uninterrupted moving, experimenting, comparing himself as a true outsider – then represented the bridge between his work and the work of this research ensemble that I have found myself inhabiting since I pitched the curtains in the micro-society of the theater: Rossolevante.»
