Final outcome of the workshop held in spring aimed at high school students from Tortolì directed by Pierpaolo Piludu and Alessandro Lay of Cada Die Teatro with original music by Paolo Fresu. The protagonists are eleven students.
We borrowed the title from the Esit commercial that offers a beautiful image of Sardinia. uncontaminated. We would like the entire sea of our island to shine with those same blues, greens and emeralds that characterized it up to forty, fifty years ago. In the past few days we traveled about twenty kilometers along the Cagliari coast with a video camera. Unfortunately, most of the images we captured did not have that same poetic force.
In dealing with the younger generations, we feel the civic duty to explain that the Sardinian Rebirth Plan could have gone in different directions from those created with the chemical and petrochemical hubs, to tell that if with a part of those billions we had tried to enhance our immense natural, cultural, archaeological heritage, perhaps today we would all live on a less degraded Island, with a greater sense of identity and with a few more jobs.
