Rosmarino, ma tu mi vuoi?

Giancarlo Biffi / Paolo Angeli

A tender story of love and brotherly jealousy for young readers, narrated through images from the beautiful autumnal tables of Valeria Valenza

What happens in Gufo Rosmarino’s family, if a puppy pops out of a chocolate egg? Brillo, big black and shining eyes, everyone seems to like him but not Rosmarino. Where does he come from? And who is his mother? “It can’t be a mother owl… She’s ours!” How angry, better to run away than stay in the nest with that mother-stealer…
A new adventure for Gufo Rosmarino, another test that life reserves for him along the path of being in the world, in the difficulty of growing up.
Rosmarino is the little owl that we would all like as a friend, the brave little brother who manages to transform every difficulty into a formidable opportunity for adventure. Rosmarino has the bold wisdom of children in the world of adults, he sees things with the eyes of simplicity and for this reason he manages to find the right solution to every problem. Rosmarino takes us with him in his games, in his travels, in his dreams…
In this new adventure it happens that one day a newcomer arrives in the owl family’s nest and that the newcomer starts calling the mother of the little owl brothers “mom” and that thing, to a little owl as nice and brave as Rosmarino, does not go well at all.
A low flight in the feelings, in the meeting of affections and desires that always deserve to be welcomed.
Mom owl will eventually find her son Rosmarino, after having lost him she will bring him back to the nest, to the center of the heart.
