Born from a Venetian adaptation of The Merry Wives of Windsor, Franco Ford – Pojana – comes to prominence with the famous video Ciao terroni: a greedy little boss from the Northeast obsessed with money and his not at all veiled racism, who unreservedly displays very harsh opinions (fed by prejudice) regarding the uncertain times that the Northeast and the country as a whole are experiencing. His “brothers” (a former bouncer, a renowned rodent exterminator, the Kurtz lookalike from Apocalypse Now and many others) see the light the day after April 1, 2014, when a Tanko, an armored earthmoving machine, with a small cannon in the turret, is found in a warehouse in Casale di Scodosia. Characters forged by the imagination of the rhapsodist Andrea Pennacchi, finally transposed from the stage of the theater to the written page. This text brings them all together, with their obsessions, anger, desperation and ignorance.
