Una piccola Odissea

TEATRO BOXER

I came into possession of a copy of the Odyssey quite early: when I was in middle school, my father ran the book stand at my neighborhood Festa dell’Unità, while my mother reigned supreme over the steaming kitchens. The rain had damaged a prose version from Garzanti, and my father gave it to me as a gift. Pojana e i suoi fratelli

TEATRO BOXER

Pojana’s older brothers: Edo the security guard, Tonon the rodent exterminator, Alvise the black man and others, saw the light the day after April 1, 2014. His “brothers” (a former bouncer, a renowned ro...

Mio padre: appunti sulla guerra civile

Andrea Pennacchi - Teatro Boxer/Pantakin

When my father died, I woke up suddenly, like you wake up after a party where you weren't having fun and you even drank the perfume in the bathroom. It's morning, you wake up and you feel bad, but the worst thing is that you don't remember anything, and there's a mess to clean up. And your dad, who was good at cleaning up, is no longer here. That's how my fabulous 90s ended. The end of a party, the birth of a new awareness. Like Telemachus, but o...
