A performative literature project dedicated to good drinking. Writers from the cellar is an evening of stories and ballads, tales and alcoholic and non-alcoholic deliriums, an hour of readings on one of life’s greatest pleasures: good drinking, conscious tasting, prolonged meditation, contained intoxication. A group of published writers, aspiring narrators, journalists and musicians, time wasters, actresses, employees, athletes and psychologists – all united by a passion for reading and writing, all together on a stage to talk about wine, its mystery, its magic, its power, its history. Wine, which has always been culture and an opportunity to meet and chat, will be the common thread of the short, ironic and dazed stories, which the participants in the evening will read from the stage, with the music following the stories and entering the story, in a mix of words, declamations, musical suggestions from the Sardinian tradition and varied acoustic samples. Scrittori da cantina is a captivating and visionary literary show suitable for fairs, parties, celebrations, festivals, village stages and town halls, small parks and stadiums.
