Preda

SCUOLA DI ARTI SCENICHE LA VETRERIA

When you are held hostage by a kidnapper who doesn’t even let you see the light of day, you have to be strong enough to resist. Fortunately, Eugenio Mossa, a doctor who has been buried alive for months, waiting for his family to pay the ransom, has this strength. A strength that turns into cunning, when one broken word after another, he manages to build a human relationship with his jailer, an elderly man marked by his entire life spent as a fugitive. Meanwhile, the investigation into the kidnapping has been entrusted to the Carabinieri captain Caforio. A stranger in a foreign land, despised by his colleagues and unloved by the population, Caforio will find himself having to unravel a tangle of silences, incomprehensible codes of honor and distance from the institutions. Against the backdrop of a contemporary Sardinia that shows its roots with pride and strength.
