Manifesto for the Earth. Principle I. The ecosphere is the center of value for Humanity
ALBERI is a performative project inspired by the plant kingdom, the ability of plants to move and photosynthesis, the only biologically relevant process capable of collecting solar energy, on which life on Earth depends. It is an installation of light and body that explores the story of organic matter through a sensorial movement, starting from the physical research of three forms: walking, turning, climbing. In the treatise “The Power of Movement in Plants” Charles Darwin traced the numerous movements of leaves and root systems. He was the first to realize that the tip of the root is a sophisticated sense organ capable of registering various parameters, including light and gravity, and reacting to them.
