From March 5th to June 15th, almost four months, or 103 days away from the stage. And you know, for an acrobat, theater is life, passion, mission.

It is precisely from the need to return to the stage to meet its audience again that the Cada Die Teatro company of Cagliari has decided, despite the many difficulties, constraints and requirements imposed by Covid 19, to confirm for the twenty-first time the Festival dei Tacchi, the summer festival that in Jerzu will bring together, as per now consolidated tradition, artists, theater, music, literature and nature.
“The virus sent us an eviction letter from our stages, but we are coming back, we must come back – says artistic director Giancarlo Biffi. Ours is a duty, a moral obligation. Without a meeting there is no theater, without the spectator there is no theater. Online initiatives during quarantine are great, but enough now. That is not theater”.

The stars of the evening shows, in the open-air space of the Cantina Antichi Poderi, were Moni Ovadia, Andrea Pennacchi, Giuseppe Cederna, Max Paiella, Luca Radaelli and Alessandro Lay with his Riva Luigi ’69 ’70 – Cagliari on the day of the championship.
From 6 to 10 August, the naturalistic scenarios of Ogliastra will be the backdrop to the intense calendar of the Festival, with the Municipality of Jerzu and the Cantina sociale Antichi Poderi in the front row to support and bet on culture in a very complicated moment for local administrations put to the test by funding cuts and the sudden and unexpected axe of the Corona Virus.
The organizational details have been defined according to the Government directives for the staging of live shows, such as to ensure maximum health safety for the public, workers and artists, the program includes 13 shows, 3 national previews, book presentations and workshops.

The Festival dei Tacchi is supported by the Municipality of Jerzu, Cantina Sociale Antichi Poderi, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Sardinia Region, Fondazione di Sardegna and Mibact.
