10th Festival dei Tacchi
in Jerzu, Gairo, Osini and Ulassai from 5th to 10th August 2009
The OGLIASTRA TEATRO project turns ten.
Over the years, it has established itself as the most important theatre festival held in Sardinia and as one of the main summer cultural events.
The connection with the territory is found not only in the location of the events, increasingly linked to nature and the places where they take place, but also in the choice of themes specific to a popular, contemporary and civilly and ethically committed theatre. The desire to propose to the public some of the most interesting artistic realities of the national and international scene, is combined with an increasingly strong contact with the environment in which the Festival takes place, in a bond that grows and strengthens thanks to the presentation of collaborative projects with artists and with activities of great excellence operating in the territory and in general with all the cultural production of Sardinia.
Over the years, it has been possible to see how this is an event awaited by the accommodation facilities and the population. During the days of the festival, the towns take on a new life, the Festival is awaited, and a network of widespread hotels is developed for the festival visitors according to a principle of sustainable tourism. The feedback comes from the same tourist reception operators and from the population of the towns involved.
The 2009 edition intends to continue and strengthen the line of promotion of the territory and the connection between nature and culture, with the choice of carrying out the activities in natural places, such as the Su Marmuri Cave, the Santa Barbara and Sant’Antonio woods and other natural locations in the territories of the Parco dei tacchi. On the other hand, the collaboration continues with a strong propensity to expand, with artistic figures of excellence, associations and operational groups of the territory, such as La Stazione dell’arte and Maria Lai, the Su Marmuri Cooperative, the pro loco of the towns. An artistic-naturalist but also educational valorization to experience nature with respect and contemplation. The Festival continues the path started in 2007 with the representation of shows in natural places, developing the section “For a theater that melts into places Le vie” with new productions whose installations are characterized precisely by the specificity of the places in which they are rehearsed and represented. In the 2009 edition, “La via dell’asino”, “La via dei matti”, via della notte” will be proposed, born in close correlation with some experiences realized by the company in the territory starting from the territory. Following the success of the past editions, we will once again propose events of study and reflection with different sections and areas: “Feriti da tanta bellezza”, a conference-round table with experts and journalists on the future of the theater, book presentations and an exhibition of ten years of the event.

CADA DIE TEATRO
The Assandira farmhouse was destroyed by fire. Too bad, because it worked wonderfully. Tourists willingly paid thousands of euros to learn, in ten days, the secrets of authentic Sardinian pastoral life: from how to launch the ancient sounds to call the sheep and ostriches, to how to sleep comfortably resting your head on a basalt boulder! Freely inspired by the novel "Assandira" by Giulio Angioni School of Performing Arts La Vetreria – Cada ...

From text to word

Among the many ways of doing theatre there are two that are apparently opposite but in reality very close to each other: the one that stages the great classics of the past to see what is still relevant in those masterpieces; the other that starts from current events trying to highlight an ancient feeling (both in the tragic and in the comic), I would say atavistic, almost completely dormant. Today's theatre often deals with current events, but it...

Flow, Flowing. Working on a Natural Word
Diretto da Alessandro Berti
Dedicato everyone
The starting image is that of a hollow, still trunk, crossed by the flow of words. That trunk is us. A piece of nature crossed by the wind. The concentration of the interpreter is palpable, a calmly solid floor. His breathing is deep, his gaze present. A substantial physicality, which involves the whole body even when standing still, will support the speech, making the text speak down to the most subtle nuances. The actor's means seem to have d...
