Once upon a time there was a village near a large lake, so clear that on its surface you could see the clouds, leaves, stars and white stones at the bottom floating. Some evenings the sky was reflected in the water and colored the houses and its inhabitants blue and blue. But one day it stopped raining and the lake dried up. The village elder called a boy: “Look at the sky Alizar, our lake is up there now, you will have to bring it back down here.” Before leaving Alizar went to his beloved Mounia and under the Big Tree they exchanged a promise of love.
The Breath of the Wind is the story of the journey of Alizar who, seeking rain for his People, slowly lost himself, and of Mounia who found him again, following his breathing.
