Giacomo Mameli

(Perdasdefogu 1941), journalist, writer. In Urbino he studied Journalism and Sociology, focusing on the themes of work and communication. He graduated in Sociology and discussed his thesis with Paolo Fabbri and Carlo Bo “Four countries, one island”. He was press officer for the Minister of Foreign Affairs during the years of the Maastricht Treaty. For Cuec he published La squadra (May 1999) and Sardegna 2000 (December 2000). He is the director of the monthly Sardinews, and collaborates with La Nuova Sardegna. For the broadcaster Sardegna uno he edits the weekly «Ma però».
