He plays various saxophones and ethnic flutes. He has been an exponent of Italian jazz for about twenty years and is also involved in the artistic direction of important music, literature and theatre festivals. Together with the musicologist Roberto Favaro he founded in 1985 the “George Gershwin” Music School of Padua of which he is the director. In recent years he has had the opportunity to collaborate, in the jazz field, with Paolo Fresu, Stefano Battaglia, Enrico Rava, Claudio Fasoli, Patrizio Fariselli, Paolino Dalla Porta while in the field of author music he has performed with Ricky Gianco and Gualtiero Bertelli and also with the late bluesman Cooper Terry. He has played, in addition to Italy, in Yugoslavia, Nicaragua, Switzerland, Ecuador, Slovenia, the United States, Canada and the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.
