Composer, instrumentalist, researcher, born in Cagliari and began his career at a very young age in groups researching and historical-critical recovery of popular music.<\/p>\n
In 1977 he founded the group Suonofficina that opens traditional Sardinian music to encounters and experiments with those of the entire Mediterranean. Record tracks: Pingiada – Fonit Cetra ; Iandimironnai – Playgame Music. He then specialized in the study of dance rhythms, creating a technique that allowed him to apply the language of the ancient \u201cnodas\u201d of the launeddas on the mandola.<\/p>\n
In 1979 he met the singer Elena Ledda, with whom he shared choices and projects that resulted in an intense and fruitful concert and recording activity (Ammentos, 1979, Sonos, 1989, Incanti, 1994, Maremannu, 2000, Cantendi a Deus 2009, L\u00e0ntias 2017). He met the great protagonists of international culture on stages all over the world, also through a rich activity in the field of stage music. He composed original music for the films \u201cVenti di Jazz\u201d, \u201cNel Paese di Eleonora\u201d, \u201cFilo di Seta\u201d, \u201cLa Destinazione\u201d \u201cil sogno dei Pastori\u201d and for the period films \u201cCain\u00e0\u201d, \u201cCenere\u201d, \u201cSonos ‘e memoria\u201d, \u201cFiorenzo Serra\u201d; in the theatre field he signs the music for the literary shows \u201cCristiani di Allah\u201d, \u201cMare Chiuso\u201d, \u201cCronache Italiane\u201d, \u201cScavi Storie di Minino\u201d, \u201cPersiane Azzurre\u201d and for the dance shows \u201cEtnika\u201d, \u201cDanze dal Mare\u201d, \u201cTango Dream\u201d and \u201cTransumare\u201d; his recordings: \u201cCain\u00e0\u201d, \u201cA volte ritornano\u201d, \u201cIl colore del maestrale\u201d, \u201cMare chiusi\u201d with Maurizio Camardi, \u201cVoglio un chilo di pane\u201d with Tama trio, Palma de Sols, Meigama with Francesco Medda.<\/p>\n
