Pleiadi is an open and multidisciplinary production project that came to life in 2015. Pleiadi sees the collaboration of Michele Losi, director and producer, Diego Dioguardi and Luca Maria Baldini sound designers and musicians, Stefania Coretti, costume designer, Sofia Bolognini, playwright, Liliana Benini, Noemi Bresciani and Arianna Losi, performer, Sjoerd Wagenaar, director and scholar of performance art. Pleiadi is a place open to artists of different disciplines and backgrounds who share the intent to create Art even for those who are not used to frequenting it: for those, for example, who have never been to the theater or have stopped going. <\/p>\n
For Pleiadi the excellence of any Art lies in its intensity, in the urgency to create beauty, reflection, emotional and spiritual involvement and in the ability to adhere to the political-cultural needs of the society we live in. Understanding and listening to the surrounding world, its tensions and mutations, its dramas and contradictions, its wonders and rarities, constitute the research ground at the base of the artistic ideas of the collective. <\/p>\n
The collective is composed of a group of artists who, depending on the project, collaborate with each other and\/or with other actors, performers, musicians, dancers, visual artists. This allows the artists of Pleiadi to investigate creative fields that are usually less frequented. A great love for the classics accompanied by tension and curiosity towards the new sensibilities of theatre and performing art leads Pleiadi to produce site-specific actions, in urban and natural spaces, to discover unconventional performance spaces and their delicate and unexpected balances. Each place calls for different creations and each work changes depending on the influences received from the places themselves, whether urban or natural, and from those who live there. It is our urgency to involve the spectator in the great existential themes to which man is by nature tense, also by creating shows in which to make him the protagonist and participant of the performative action. <\/p>\n
The body, together with sound, images, videos and lights contribute to the creation of a complete artistic experience.<\/p>\n
