Matteo Sau was born, lives and works in Cagliari. He has collaborated with numerous musicians in projects ranging from popular music to South American music. He has worked with writers and actors to stage reading-concerts and theatrical performances, of which he has curated the musical parts both through the composition of original pieces and through the re-reading of already published pieces. He has participated in cultural promotion projects and taken part in festivals such as the Marina Caf\u00e8 Noir and Cuncambias. He has collaborated with writers such as Francesco Abate, Daniele Biacchessi, Leonardo Padura Fuentes, Stefano Tassinari and Maurizio De Giovanni. He is the author of the lyrics and musical pieces of the theatrical show La stanza di Michelangelo. (2023)
\nHe has the album Forse giorno dopo la luna (Produced by Stefano Guzzetti and published by Carac\u00f2 in 2015) under his belt. The album, which also contains a reworking of the song Ho visto anche degli zingari felici, by Claudio Lolli, has as its main theme time and its perception.
