He formed a lasting partnership with Claudio Morganti. Together they founded the Katzenmacher theatre company, revealing themselves with the homonymous show (1980), a story of marginalization of emigrants in Germany and at the same time work on memory and language. Since then, faithful to a sort of poetics of marginality and deviance, they have created numerous shows, often rewriting literary texts by authors such as B\u00fcchner, Beckett, Cervantes, Dostoevskij: B\u00fcchner mon amour (1981); En passant (1983); The calapranzi (1984); Mucciana city (1984); Hauser Hauser (1986); Saavedra (1988); Endgame (1990); Omsk (1990); The Guardian (1992). After dissolving his partnership with Morganti, he remained artistic director of the company, continuing with young actors the work of modern reinterpretation of farce and tragedy (Petito strenge, 1996; Ubu scornacchiato, 1997; Ubu &#8216;u pazz, 1998; Isaia l&#8217;irriducibile, 2000). This was followed by: Se tujur la nu\u00ec (2001); Tragedy in Gibellina (2002); Apparitions (2002); The Voices from Within (2004); The Sun of the Brigand (2005); Comic Theatre (2006).
