His first novel &#8211; co-written with Gianluca Cicinelli &#8211; published in 2023 is titled 365 and between the folds it refers to the need to build worlds, typical of science fiction. He has a namesake who teaches at the University of Bologna; both are passionate about science fiction and comics so they are often confused. He is Roman but having married (in Sardinia) a Venetian he lives in Imola.
