We make bread in an oven that we invented, we make polenta in a copper pot, we cut cheese and vegetables, we make theater in another way, who knows if it is theater. We put the spectators (few and who knows if they are spectators) sitting in a sort of circle with glasses, wine, water, bread in front of them and we sit there too. Then there are the small and big things in our life, those close by and those far away, insignificant facts and tragedies, the land and love and war. First of all the meeting, who knows if it is theater, after all we are farmers. And yet there is a web of very thin threads that unites everything, that unites us all, men, beasts, seeds and fruits and leaves. <\/p>\n
Perhaps this is why we gather around the “teatro di terra”, to ask ourselves what unites us, what pains, what joys, what destiny we have in common in this spinning top world. Together eating, drinking, crying and laughing while time passes and leaves us inevitably different from what we were an hour before, before meeting, and yet all equally prisoners of that web of threads that unites signs, actions, words and things.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
