Our company was established in 1986 and was subsequently recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a “theatre production company for children and youth of national artistic importance” and has an agreement with the Lombardy Region.

The attention towards the Teatro Ragazzi combines with the research and vocation for the theatricalisation of non-deputized spaces. It stands out for original dramaturgy that takes inspiration from literary and iconographic sources but develops from the improvisational work of the actors, also through themes such as the poetics of memory, in which the use of dialect, autobiographical inspiration and historical references find space. In the field of children’s theatre, he focuses on revisiting classic fairy tales and writing original texts on themes related to growth and current events, always in poetic form.

The company produces shows for children and adults, which travel throughout Italy and at major festivals. It is an established figure in the organizational field and organizes numerous school, Sunday and evening events in various Lombardy provinces.

Teatro Invito combines its production activity with intense and constant activity in the area which includes workshops for children and adults and theatrical readings. It is an organizational point of reference for hosting shows, educational projects and theater reviews. It organizes the summer festival of the Teatro Popolare di Ricerca L’ultima luna d’estate, which has taken place in the Brianza area of Lecco since 1998, becoming the most significant theatrical event in Lombardy and recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities as a national festival since 2015. Places of the Adda, a theatre festival in the most evocative places along the river; The theatre valleys, Unique Place and Copyplays, theatre festivals for schools; and the more recent projects Upstream the show and Theatre and music in Val Chiavenna testify to an incessant work of cultural promotion in the area.

Since 2016 the Association has managed Spazio Teatro Invito (an auditorium with 300 seats) with a concession contract with the Municipality of Lecco, here it organizes an evening season, a school season and a Sunday season.
