Teatro Due Mondi

Born in 1979 as a “group theatre”, since then they have been engaged in continuous artistic research aimed at building a “cultured” and “popular” theatre (for both indoor and outdoor spaces), rooted in tradition, but capable of speaking a universal language, accessible to all, albeit with different possible readings, attentive to grasping the urgencies of contemporary society. One of the goals is to create a new audience through shows that can create a dialogue with audiences with fewer opportunities (foreign residents, audiences far from cultural venues and socially disadvantaged groups, young people). They bring shows and projects all over the world, from Northern Europe to South America, from Asia to Eastern Europe. They are accompanied by the need to build a human society based on respect for others. The company’s work is made up of different paths practiced: production of shows, workshops for actors and non-actors, organization of multidisciplinary projects. The productions can be divided into three main groups: shows of and in the street, theater for young generations and shows for adults
