StivalaccioTeatro was founded in 2007 as a popular theater company, and over the years it has developed thanks to the artistic direction of Sara Allevi, Anna De Franceschi, Federico Corona, Michele Mori and Marco Zoppello. Over the years the company’s shows have been hosted within the major distribution circuits, festivals and national and foreign theaters. In the Veneto region StivalaccioTeatro develops and promotes projects also through the organization of festivals, reviews and training projects, and collaborates permanently with the main theater organizations in the area (Teatro Stabile del Veneto, Arteven, Operaestate Festival, Teatro Comunale di Vicenza, Fondazione Teatro Civico di Schio).
Since 2022, the company has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture among the beneficiaries of the FNSV – National Fund for Entertainment, as a Theatrical Production Company for the three-year period 2022 – 2024 and by the Veneto Region as a Theatrical Company eligible for regional contributions pursuant to the Annual Call for Proposals “Law 17” – Regional Law for Culture.
