Motus

Motus was founded in Rimini in 1991 by Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò, producing since its foundation shows capable of recounting the harshest contradictions of the present. The company’s work, made up of theater, performances and installations and accompanied by an intense seminar activity, is presented in Europe and throughout the world. In 2020 the company was invited to cover the Artistic Direction of the Santarcangelo Festival in a fiftieth anniversary that, due to the pandemic crisis, was titled Futuro Fantastico and divided into three movements: the first in the summer of 2020, the second – digital – in the autumn/winter of the same year and the third in the summer of 2021.
In 2021 Motus won the prestigious Critics’ Award from the National Association of Theater Critics.
