CATALYST
Catalyst is a cultural production and project company founded in London in 1996 by Riccardo Rombi, an actor, director and author with a vocation for new dramaturgy and the contamination of languages. Active in Florence since 1997, it combines its production activity in the field of innovative theatre and for new generations, funded by the Mibact, with the artistic and cultural residency project supported since 2013 by the Tuscany Region at the Teatro Corsini in Barberino di Mugello. Since 2000, it has maintained its organizational headquarters inside the Teatro Puccini in Florence where it created the School of Theatre Research and Training Centre.
It has consolidated its sectors of activity thanks to constant collaboration with public and private bodies (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, Tuscany Region, Municipality of Florence, Municipality of Barberino, Metropolitan City of Florence) and has given life, among others, to three different European Projects: A.M.I.C.A (2004-2007) Talking Body (2010) On the routes to the Commedia dell’Arte (2012-13).
Starting from the CRF Theatre School and from collaborations with other artistic realities, Catalyst has created a stable artistic-organizational nucleus that continuously counts on about 20 elements that operate in the field of show production, in training and laboratory activities for schools, in the management of theatrical spaces and summer and winter festivals, international projects, management of the film season, development of projects in the territory.
CAMILLOCROMO
Camillocromo are a delirious and eccentric Florentine band, with swing and circus sounds; they tour the world with their shows, in which music, theater, circus and fantasy meet in a territory of creation without established borders.
Since 2005 more than 600 performances on important stages and festivals including: Efes Pilsen One Love Festival (Istanbul), Fira Magica Barcelona, VolterraTeatro, Carnaval de Madrid, Folkest, Musicastrada festival, Haizetara Festival, Fabbrica Europa, Pflasterspektakel Festival Linz, Chalon Dans La Rue, Napoli Teatro Festival, Sentieri Acustici, FestiVan Turchia, Waves Festival Denmark, Auditorium Parco della Musica Roma, Internazionalni Festival Ulicnih Svirac Novi Sad…
