BARACCA TESTONI
Founded in 1976, La Baracca has been operating in the Children’s Theatre for over 45 years with a production and programming activity dedicated to families and schools. Since the early 1980s, the company has managed a city theatre in Bologna dedicated exclusively to children and young people, where it creates and hosts shows, workshops, artistic and cultural activities for children, girls and boys, parents and teachers.
CADA DIE TEATRO
Cada Die Teatro was founded in Cagliari in 1982 and since 1987 has been recognized by the MIC as an innovative theater production company in the field of research and experimentation. For many years it has resided at the Vetreria di Pirri, a former glass factory, which has become a cultural center of the city of Cagliari. Cada Die Teatro is mainly concerned with the promotion and development of artistic expressions, in particular all forms of scenic art and theatre. Produces, sets up and performs shows. Organize workshops, seminars, courses.
Cada Die Teatro, working for a theater that was as close as possible to reality, identified the centrality of the actor as the main element of its theatrical poetics. A path that meant dealing with strong themes, close to one’s own experience and roots, in an attempt to combine popular theater and experimental theatre. The experimentation of new scenic languages that speak to the present, the care for the actor’s work, the interest in oral narration, have characterized the artistic path of these years. A poetic continuity that can also be seen in theater productions dedicated to children and young people. Through the universal language of the fairy tale, we work on stratifications of meanings, which can be grasped at various levels of depth and which do not speak only through words and concepts, but through images, symbols and archetypes.
