Barbara Apuzzo

Barbara Apuzzo is an actress and playwright. Lives and works in Milan. Affected by arthrogryposis since birth, in 2005 she won a special mention at the Ustica Prize for the Civil Theater with her first monologue ‘A Noce (from which she is working on a graphic novel with the designer Stefano Mura). In 2009 she debuted with the second monologue Baba, directed by Gianluigi Gherzi. She collaborated with the Animanera theater company from 2014 to 2022. She is an actress and author of “Non E’ Amore Questo”, a docufilm shot by Teresa Sala, in which Barbara talks about her sexuality as a disabled woman. He is currently working with Renato Sarti on the show Ausmerzen, by Marco Paolini.
