It is the story of the invasion of Carnia by the Cossacks, sent by Hitler to fight the partisan war with the promise of being able, once the war was over and the resistance was defeated, to inhabit the conquered land. The story is told in the first person by a Cossack, and it is interesting because it is a true historical fact unknown to most.
