A show with texts by Luciano Bianciardi, a writer with a sharp irony and a clear view of the world and the future. The title is taken from the collection of short stories “La solita zuppa e altre storie”, an incriminating story that in the Sixties, when the book was published, was the reason for a trial.
The protagonist of the novella is a Milan where the taboo is not sex, but food. Among the stories “Quello strano viaggio (storia quasi metafisica)”: a dream, the hope of a dream, the intimate desire of having dreamed. And so we remember.
Remembering Bianciardi with a dream that contains others, flashes that, like in a dreamlike journey, emerge from an existential fog, vivid, leaving the spectator, as sometimes happens after waking up, for a brief moment, the doubt as to whether the experience lived was real or not.
Maria Cassi and Leonardo Brizzi, with their extraordinary ability to read the human in a surreal way, guide us in this dream, which like a train is made of carriages, divided into compartments, which contain seats in which, more or less consciously, we are sitting.
A musical and intimate journey, between famous songs of the Sixties and ironic and scathing pages by the writer of La vita agra.
