From 1 to 10 August Arbatax, Jerzu, Ulassai and Osini will host the 16th edition of Ogliastra Teatro – Festival dei Tacchi, an eagerly awaited summer event curated by Cada Die Teatro.

A program full of events that ranges from theater to dance, from circus to music, passing through training and literature with Libri in scena, a project of valorization and invitation to reading.

There are also numerous collateral activities aimed at the public, aimed at promoting and discovering the territory in collaboration with local cultural and tourism operators.
The 2015 edition of the Festival whose common thread is travel and meeting with foreigners, will have an international opening with several foreign guests and events of great tourist appeal.

In chronological order, the event will host the debut of the international co-production Dans l’Odyssée. Nausicaa, I am I directed by Cada Die Teatro with Anapoda, Scarlattine and Reseau in scenes and instant performances directed by the St. Petersburg company Skorohod, within the European project Meeting the Odyssey, of which the Cagliari company is a partner.

Since last year, artists and organizers of different nationalities have been sailing together along the European coasts aboard the sailing ship Hoppet, bringing on stage plays and workshops; after the experience in the Baltic in 2014, this year Hoppet will explore the Mediterranean and for the entire duration of the festival (1/10 August) will be stationed at the port of Arbatax and then continue along the circumnavigation of Sardinia until 23 August.

For the first time in Sardinia, the Danish company, Asterion Hus with The Iliad, a physical theatre show dedicated to the Homeric myth; from Spain, the circus theatre company PsiRC on stage with Acronometria. Among the leading names of the 2015 poster, we point out Alessio Boni and Marcello Prayer with Amore scalzo, a two-voice tribute to the poetic testimony of the singer-songwriter from Livorno Piero Ciampi. A welcome return to Ogliastra for the Roman actor, director, playwright and writer Ascanio Celestini, who will present Racconti d’estate, a collection of fairy tales for adults who wanted to be bad children. And again, the Apulian company Thalassia with La grande foresta by Francesco Niccolini and Luigi D’Elia – Eolo Award as Best Newcomer 2013. From the Peninsula, another welcome return, the close-knit Tuscan trio formed by the actor Andrea Kaemmerle of Guascone teatro and the musicians Francesco Bottai and Tommaso Novi of Gatti mèzzi. After the success of Lisciami capito tutto in una notte, the singer-actors are trying again with Marinati ’43, a dive into comedy, music and poetry that draws inspiration from two great contemporary authors, Jean Claude Izzo from Marseille and Colombian Alvaro Mutis.
