14th Festival dei Tacchi

in Jerzu, Ulassai and Osini from 4th to 9th August 2013

From 4 to 9 August Jerzu, Ulassai and Osini will host the 14th edition of Ogliastra Teatro – Festival dei Tacchi, the eagerly awaited summer event promoted and organized by cada die teatro

in collaboration with the municipalities of Jerzu, Osini and Ulassai, the Cantina Antichi Poderi and the contribution of the Sardinia Region, the Province and the GAL Ogliastra and the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna, which attracts numerous spectators every year from all over Sardinia and beyond. The idea is to create a theatre route that connects three neighbouring towns, encouraging the enjoyment of the places and the participation of the public.

A program full of events ranging from theatrical performances, to music, to moments of meeting and study, passing through books and literature with the section Books on stage: a project of valorization and invitation to reading that is divided into meetings with authors, directors and actors.

Among the prominent names of the 2013 program: Toni Servillo, indisputably one of the best and most esteemed actors of Neapolitan theatre and Italian cinema, winner of numerous awards and recognitions (including three David di Donatello for best actor, a Nastro d’argento etc.) who presents Toni Servillo legge Napoli.
Welcome return to Ogliastra for the Milanese comedian Paolo Rossi accompanied by the Virtuosi del Carso who present Tutti i casini del mondo; Max Paiella, brilliant and satirical song writer of the famous radio show Il ruggito del coniglio and frequent guest of the Dandini salon who brings his show on stage; Giulio Cavalli young actor-writer and journalist from Milan, expert in investigations of the mafia and abuses who presents Duomo d’onore in Cento passi dal Duomo – Capitolo secondo. Among the Sardinian artists are the Ogliastra-based Rossolevante with Il canzoniere orientale and of course the Cada Die Teatro. The writers Celestino Tabasso, Francesco Abate, Michela Murgia and Pierpaolo Piludu will animate the books on stage section of the festival accompanied by the journalists Cristiano Bandini, Giusy Ferreli, Paola Pilia and Walter Porcedda.
