4th Festival dei Tacchi
From 5 to 9 August 2003, Jerzu and Perdasdefogu will host the second edition of Jerzu Teatrofestival (fourth edition of the larger project “Ogliastra Teatro”), which has successfully concretized the link between wine (the characteristic Cannonau of the area) and theater. Five days of marriage between artistic, social, touristic and commercial aspects, always and in any case under a strong sign of sharing, participation, great passion and quality.
All this is made possible, despite the absence of government funding and that of the province of Nuoro, thanks to the joint intervention of the Municipality of Jerzu and the Cantina Antichi Poderi that demonstrate their desire to take on the task of enhancing, also through culture and theater in particular, the riches of the territory. The work, tenacity and intelligence of the company, attentive to the requests that came from the territory, have been able to prepare and implement a structured program capable of arousing the interest and participation of residents and tourists, consolidating an experience that already raises many expectations and expectations for the future.
The five days of the Festival host 15 performances and 4 workshops involving the setting up of 6 stage spaces (1 inside the Cantina area, 1 at the Museum, 1 at the Social Aggregation Centre, 2 outdoors and 1 in Perdasdefogu) and three spaces for workshops and the organisation of hospitality for around one hundred young people in an open-air campsite and in a former indoor colony.

Cristolu – Life of a Bandit Friar
BOCHETEATRO / CADA DIE TEATRO
This is a project based on the novel by the Orani writer Salvatore Niffoi, which marks the collaboration between the companies Cada Die Teatro from Cagliari and Bocheteatro from Nuoro. The story tells of the bad justice that Sardinians have always suffered over the centuries. A story of the powerful against the weak and defenseless. A story of abuse, oppression and harassment. The young Cristolu, destined to wear the clothes of a friar and spend...

One Thousand and One Nights
PAOLO PANARO
The Thousand and One Nights is the supreme kingdom of insomniac readers. Entering this book, one wanders through a fabulous Islam that today we would struggle to recognize. The book of nights is a collection of stories that are structured, fitting into each other, around a main story. The appearance of a character invariably involves the interruption of the previous story in favor of a new story. Like Russian matryoshkas, the stories are nested i...

Teatro di terra
TEATRO DELLE ARIETTE
We make bread in an oven that we invented, we make polenta in a copper pot, we cut cheese and vegetables, we make theater in another way, who knows if it is theater. We put the spectators (few and who knows if they are spectators) sitting in a sort of circle with glasses, wine, water, bread in front of them and we sit there too. Then there are the small and big things in our life, those very close and those far away, insignificant facts and trage...
