From 2017 to January 2021, he was the President of La Baracca Società Cooperativa Sociale Onlus, of which he has been a member since 1986. As an actor, director and author he has participated in the creation of over 80 productions of La Baracca.
In 2008, with Ginevra Di Marco and Enzo Avitabile for the musical part, he created Canta Libera Terra with 50 young actors. He participated in the main co-productions of La Baracca, including Il Drago nella fumana with O Giramundo (Brazil), Il duello with ERT-Emilia Romagna Teatri and Sala d’attesa with the Modena City Ramblers.
In 1990 he created Ambasciatore, a pro-bono project that over the years has brought shows and projects to countries and situations of economic hardship, arriving in 2017 at the creation of Maloza, with 20 children from the AMANI Centre for street children in Lusaka (Zambia) which participated in the Festival The Cradle of Creativity – 19 th ASSITEJ World Congress in Cape Town – South Africa.
As a trainer, he leads workshops for children and young people and since 1998 he has led the Cantamaggio – youth theatre experiences project.
