He trained in 1979 at the acting school of the Teatro Stabile di Genova, where he graduated in 1982. Thus began a long theatrical season, first with the Gruppo della Rocca, then both on behalf of the School and for the theatre company Oltre L’Immagine, founded together with Mario Jorio in 1980 and operating until 1985. From 1986 to 1997 he worked with the company of the Teatro dell’Archivolto, obtaining great critical success for the opera Angeli e soli… siam venuti su dal niente….

In the same years he founded with Maurizio Crozza the comedy group Broncoviz, with which in 1989 he signed popular parodies of films broadcast on the radio program Axillo. In 1991 he made his television debut on Rai 3 in the program Avanzi, in which he participated until 1993 proposing comedy sketches together with Broncoviz themselves.

His fame with the general public increased in 1998 when he joined the cast of the television program Mai dire Gol, hosted by Gialappa’s Band, where he played famous characters. Furthermore, at the same time as this experience in the well-known Mediaset program, Dighero was also present on Rai as Giulio in the fiction Un medico in famiglia.
