13th Festival dei Tacchi

in Jerzu and Ulassai from 4th to 9th August 2012

The beautiful rocky Tacchi with their characteristic flat summits rise proudly against the blue Ogliastra skies, immortalised by the pencil of the talented Galleppini in the exploits of his most famous son, Tex Willer.

In this location, among the Cannonau vineyards, the Mediterranean scrub and the sea that peeps out on the horizon, Jerzu and Ulassai overlook and from 4 to 9 August will host the 13th edition of Ogliastra Teatro Festival dei Tacchi. The eagerly awaited summer event curated by Cada Die Teatro, in collaboration with the municipalities of Jerzu and Ulassai, the Cantina Antichi Poderi and the contribution of the Sardinia Region, the Province and the GAL Ogliastra and the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna, which every year attracts numerous spectators from all over Sardinia and beyond.

A festival dedicated to theatre and nature where the places are not just settings but real protagonists and elements of performance that do not just demand spectators but real participants. Among the prominent names of the 2012 program: Laura Curino, pioneer of narrative theatre, with her signature song Olivetti, dedicated to the figure of the entrepreneur from Ivrea Camillo Olivetti, a brilliant nonconformist, inventor of the first typewriter entirely made in Italy. Peppino Mazzotta, talented and eclectic Calabrian actor known to the small screen audience for having played Inspector Fazio in the successful TV drama “Il commissario Montalbano”, who will bring to the stage the award-winning Radio Argo, a monologue that takes up themes and protagonists of the Greek myth reinterpreting them in a contemporary and original way. Dario Vergassola who after the television successes of “Parla con me” returns to the theatre to present Sparla con me, a collection of the most hilarious moments of his many meetings in the Dandini living room; welcome return to Ogliastra for the writer-journalist from Cagliari Francesco Abate who, accompanied by the musicians Marco Noce and Matteo Sau, presents È colpa tua; and also Guascone Teatro, Gatti Mèzzi; from Sardinia the Ogliastra natives Rossolevante and Girasolo, the talented Rita Atzeri, Gavino Murgia and of course the Cada Die Teatro.

Marea, life in every breath

CADA DIE TEATRO / TOMMASO NOVI

Marea is a sea princess who can live both in and out of the water: a beautiful woman who becomes a child again every night. One summer evening, two sailors, Feli Peli D’oro and Ben Bum Bum, meet her in an alley in a seaside town: the woman seems to be made of water, so pale in complexion that she seems blue, the same extraordinary blue reflection that blocks of ice have adrift in the middle of the sea. Feli and Ben's stories don't quite match...

SILVESTRO ZICCARDI / CADA DIE TEATRO

by Silvestro Ziccardi freely adapted from "The Plasterer's Donkey" by Luigi Capuana Once upon a time there was a plasterer who had many donkeys, skinny, ugly and dirty; but among all these donkeys he had one that was the ugliest of all. He was thin, gaunt, dirty, all crooked, mangy, with a flayed tail, his legs so ruined that he seemed to be able to stand up by a miracle. But when his master shouted: "Forward fiery!"... the donkey raised his head...

Olivetti

LAURA CURINO

Olivetti is the story of Camillo, the pioneer, the inventor, the capricious and brilliant nonconformist who founded, at the beginning of the twentieth century, the first Italian typewriter factory. With the help of biographies, interviews, literary texts (Natalia Ginzburg's witty description of him in Lessico Familiare was indispensable), his life, the figures around him, his environment and his enterprises have been reconstructed. The narrative ...

Passavamo sulla terra leggeri

Diretto da Marco Baliani
Dedicato to all

Atzeni's book, which inspired the workshop proposal, speaks of a foundation myth, or rather of several myths that intertwine, in the land of Sardinia, to try, imaginatively, to trace gestures, songs, actions, alphabets, thoughts of a mysterious people, and then follow their tracks, gradually historicizing them and making them adhere to known history. In this way, even the gaze on known History changes perspective, is forced to place itself differ...

Light as Water Workshop - La Vetreria Performing Arts School We wanted to pay homage to an artist, Federico Fellini, to a visionary, to his cinema, to a poetic way of dealing with reality. We started from the film “E la nave va” and then navigated within the theater and the show, the imaginary and the real, always having Fellini’s filmography as a navigation compass. To create a show that tells, with lightness, of marginal, double human uni...
