Tonino Serra

Tonino Serra, from Ierzu with ancestors from Tertenia and Ulassai, a physiatrist, has lived and worked in Cagliari since 1975.

Mayor of his town in the 1980s, he was a provincial and municipal councilor of Cagliari from 1990 to 1998. He published Ierzu, history of a peasant town, Ierzu, the people, the places, the memory, and some essays in Quaderni Ogliastrini. With various authors he edited the monograph Ogliastra. He is finishing the monograph Ulassai, the paths of memory.
